Commissioning Statement
- The commissioning service offered by Feedback Data Ltd is primarily aimed at ensuring that Feedback equipment is correctly configured
to operate to Feedback Data's specifications.
- The service operates from Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1730. Any estimates given by Feedback Data regarding the amount of time
required to commission a system is only given as a guide. Feedback Data can not accept any liability for any penalties that maybe
incurred if the system is not handed over in time. If the commissioning of a system overruns, Feedback Data will endeavour to
attend site the following day, however this can not be guaranteed. When you book commissioning services it is advised that at least
7 days advance notice is given to avoid any disappointment.
- When a Feedback engineer is travelling long distances to attend a site (100 miles plus) they will endeavour to reach the site by
10:30am (traffic permitting). Commissioning trips to Ireland will incur additional travel and subsistence costs, e.g. the cost of
flight tickets and overnight accommodation.
- As Feedback engineers are only equipped with basic hand tools (no ladders / power tools), they will not undertake any
electrical / mechanical installation work. All installation work must therefore be completed prior to the commissioning visit.
- Relevant terminal ID information / IP addresses will be made available to the visiting engineer.
- The end user will be responsible for checking with the local fire officer to ensure that the instructions given to FDL in
connection with access control equipment comply with the local fire officers interpretation of the prevailing regulations.
Scope of Commissioning
The commissioning engineer(s) will:
- Configure the equipment manufactured or supplied by Feedback Data which will include any cabling / interface connections.
- Test and prove communications between the host and Feedback equipment.
- Fully test all equipment including any peripheral devices supplied by Feedback Data Ltd.
