Area Controller

The area controller is an interface between the host computer and a network of door controllers. The area controller polls the door controllers and checks the data as it is entered, using internally stored tables to monitor and control access throughout a site. Each area controller will support up to 31 door controllers. The area controller has a built in UPS (4 hours) and, dependent on model, can validate from 1800 to 58000 badges*.
