About Feedback Data
Feedback is a company of makers, and engineering is in our blood. Our founders came together in 1958 to build devices that would help teach students the concepts of engineering. Over 500 products later, it’s a safe bet we’ve been simplifying complex questions with technology ever since.
We have 50 years of history and two operating companies:
• Feedback Data is a specialist in edge systems. We provide devices that sit at the edge of our customers’ organisations, feeding data into their enterprise systems that help control payroll and billing, and provide feedback on organisational effectiveness.
• Feedback Black Box: the new kid, an electronics product-development hot house, developing and building data-centric products for our customers’ markets.
The purpose that binds them together? Perfect feedback – for when you need to know, every time, that you’re dealing with reality.
Feedback, [ˈfēdˌbak] “the modification or control of a process or system by its results or effects.” Since the very start, our products have been designed with the principles of the feedback loop embedded in their dna. Every product now stands on the shoulders of those that came before.
Our primary aim has always been to make technically excellent products that work perfectly every time. But it doesn’t stop there. The sweet spot we’re now striving for is to find and build products that work brilliantly (of course), that look beautiful, and that bring a smile to the faces of everyone involved. Living up to that should keep us busy for another 50 years.
